Street to Strength: 6-Month Youth Feeding & Outreach Program

Across the busy streets of Kampala, a mission of compassion came to life—reaching the city’s most vulnerable children where they needed it most. Over six months, the program reached nearly 200 street children, restoring not just nourishment, but dignity and hope.

Outreach spanned more than 150 streets across Kisenyi, Katwe, Nakasero, Wandegeya, Makerere, and Bwaise. Each visit was more than a food distribution—it was a moment of care. Volunteers sat with the children, shared meals, listened to their stories, and created a sense of belonging. The simple act of sharing a meal became a powerful tool for connection and change.

Skills in Motion: Youth Machinery Training Initiative

Across communities like Mengo, Ndeeba, Nateete, Katwe, and Bwaise, a powerful transformation unfolded over six months—driven by opportunity, hands-on learning, and the determination of young people ready to change their future.

Over 100 underprivileged youths were empowered with practical, income-generating skills in heavy machinery operation, including excavators. The community-based approach removed barriers to access, ensuring even the most vulnerable youth could participate. By the end, participants walked away with certified competencies and a renewed sense of purpose—ready for the workforce, small business, and community development.

Hope on Every Corner: Kisenyi Street Feeding Outreach

In one of the most densely populated and underserved parts of Kampala, the streets of Kisenyi became a place of connection, care, and renewed hope. This targeted initiative reached street-connected children and vulnerable youth living in harsh urban conditions—providing over 200 children with nutritious meals, many of whom had gone long hours, or even days, without proper food.

But this was more than a feeding activity. Our team created a moment of belonging. As the children gathered, meals in hand, something powerful unfolded—laughter, conversations, and genuine human connection. Volunteers engaged directly with the children, sharing stories, encouragement, and hope—building the trust essential for future interventions in rehabilitation, education, and skills development.
